Hand-Painted Color, Refreshed: What's New for my Clients

Big news! I’m officially moving into my new space and starting my next chapter into full independence. Nothing about my approach is changing: you’ll still get the same personalized, hand-painted color and one-on-one experience. But this move lets me add a few thoughtful upgrades I’m really excited to share.
K18 is Now Included with All Highlight Services
If you’ve never used K18, you’re about to fall in love with it. It’s a professional peptide treatment that works on a molecular level to repair the broken keratin chains that give your hair its strength and elasticity. This is not the same as a protein treatment which just coats your hair and could be overdone. It actually goes deeper into your hair to help restore it from the inside out, making it softer, smoother, and more resilient with every highlight. I’m including K18 complimentary with all highlight services from here on out. No change in pricing, just a boost for your hair’s integrity and long-term color results.
Expanded Hours
I know that getting certain appointment slots has been tricky lately, so I'm thrilled to be able to open myself up for more availability. My new hours are:
Sunday: 10 - 6
Monday: 10 - 5
Tuesday: 10 - 5
Wednesday: 10 - 5
Thursday: OFF
Friday: OFF
Saturday (Alternating): 10 - 6

Two New Menu Options
You know I'm all about extending the life of your color without having to add more bleach or do a full-length color application every time. Now when you go to my booking site, you'll see a new category called "Between Sessions" so it's easy to pick a maintenance service for in between full appointments.
Shadow Refresh – $185
A soft root application that blurs highlight regrowth and restores depth without adding new brightness. This is the same thing that we do at every highlight appointment at the sink. It’s also perfect for keeping your color natural and dimensional between highlight visits. Only an hour and half including blowdry!
Express Single Process – $105
Quick coverage for just the parting, hairline, and crown. If you're doing a regular gray coverage touchup, it's a great service to do once in-between a full base color application if you like to come frequently. This one’s designed to be efficient: no gloss or blowdry, and it must be booked within five weeks of your last single process. It takes only an hour to be in and out.
Location & Parking Info
Vandross Hair Design has TWO salons, one in Bucktown and another in Lincoln Park.
I'm working within the Bucktown location at 1883 N Milwaukee Ave. If you map the Lincoln Park salon by mistake, there's lots of cute stuff over there too, but I won't be there to do your hair 😆. All your confirmation emails have the new address, so you should be good to go.
If you're taking public transportation, I'll be closest to the Blue Line at Western. We're just down the street. If you're driving, parking is pretty simple:
Milwaukee Ave: Metered Parking (parking across the street is limited until around 5:00pm because of current construction)
Oakley Ave: Free Parking until 6:00pm at which time it is permitted parking only
Cortland St: Free Parking 24/7 (just off Oakley in front of Erhler Park)
If you're unsure where to go, feel free to text me before your appointment, and I'll point you in the right direction if I'm not with a client.
We keep the front door locked and secure during the day, so please just ring the doorbell and someone will let you in. I'll most likely just be waiting for you at the front. If I happen to still be with the client before you, feel free to hang your coat up, make yourself comfortable and grab yourself a coffee.
