Service FAQ
Balayage is hand-painted for a softer, more natural grow-out, while traditional highlights use foils for a more uniform look. I specialize in hand-painted techniques that create dimension and movement.
Every color service includes a gloss and blow-dry finish unless otherwise noted, so you leave with polished hair and can see your results clearly.
I list starting prices for each service. Final cost depends on your hair length, density, and goals, and I’ll always confirm the price with you during consultation before we start.
Not at all. My specialties also include dimensional reds and natural, lived-in brunettes.
A gloss (also called a toner) refreshes shine and tone without lightening. It’s great between balayage or highlight sessions.
Full color changes your overall shade or covers gray. Either technique is listed on my booking site as the same thing, All Over Color.
Balayage or dimensional color is usually the best option for a softer grow-out. I’ll customize it to your lifestyle and maintenance goals. For your first appointment, I recommend booking a Full Highlight so that I can address all of your hair. If you want an All Over Color look, I'll explain the best products and techniques to use to achieve the lowest maintenance routine for your individual needs.
Not always. Balayage is meant for soft, natural brightness. If your goal is an all-over light blonde, that sometimes requires at least two sessions of highlighting to create layering of blonde, which in my opinion, looks much prettier than all-over blonde lifted bright in one session anyway.
I focus exclusively on color. I don't offer a standalone blowdry service, but blowdries are included with my color services.
I'm happy to recommend stylists for cuts.
If you’re uncertain, choose the service that feels closest to your goal, and leave notes in your booking form. If you're seeking dimensional color with balayage and it's your first appointment, I recommend choosing a Full Highlight. You can also complete my online consultation form to get in touch with me or schedule a virtual consultation online before booking.
