• Try to reduce the number of times you shampoo in a week and use a professional quality product.

• Give your hair 2 days after color before shampooing.

• When blow-dry or iron styling, be sure to use a heat protectant to safeguard from damage and dial down your heat to the minimum temperature that will achieve the end result.

• Feel free to book an appointment in between regular visits for a gloss. This will refresh your color and keep your hair on tone and shiny.

• Single process appointments: Arriving with clean, dry hair is best.

• Double process appointments: Please do not shampoo for a couple days prior to your appointment. This will reduce your sensitivity to on-scalp bleach.

• Highlight appointments: Please arrive with your hair clean and dry, styled how you normally wear it. This will allow me to create a highlight based on the way your hair usually falls.

• Those with curly hair should not brush out their curls before coming to the salon.

I always recommend first time clients book for a full-head. The first appointment is the most important, as we are creating a foundation of color for your subsequent visits. It is not common for clients to only need a partial highlight service on their first visit, but you can generally book partial highlights as maintenance services 2-3 times before your next full-head depending on the hair color look.

• Typical single process maintenance for gray coverage or lightening your hair will be about 4-6 weeks.

• Highlighted clients usually return to the salon in 8-12 weeks, or in some cases much longer based on the color.

• Double Process clients must return for maintenance appointments no less than every 5 weeks. If you arrive with more than 3/4” of regrowth, your hair will not lighten evenly and become banded. This service will then be considered a color correction and priced accordingly at a rate of $125/hr.
